The Role
Care Communication comprises of ICNet and Voalte.
ICNet is a suite of software modules that supports the control and management of infectious diseases in healthcare facilities and public health. ICNet has never been more relevant than in the post-pandemic era.
Voalte is a suite of software modules that connects care teams to improve care coordination, keep caregivers informed, and action clinical workflows from numerous connected solutions. Your role is to prepare the launch of Voalte in WEU including market landscape, segmentation, targeting and value proposition.
In this role, you will work closely with market access, the market development team, and the connected care account managers to bring the value of our digital solutions at the forefront of the agenda of the Hospital C-Suite across WEU.
Demonstrated track record with value-based selling is important to succeed in this role.
Key responsibilities
Engage with key stakeholders to map and segment the market and inform the launch prioritization (market development sequence) for both ICNet modules and Voalte.
Define launch sequence: lighthouse vs. limited commercial release vs. full launch
Refresh and simplify the positioning and the value proposition of the ICNet suite of software modules as well as the national suite vs. the hospital suite.
Work with the market access team to advocate for the value of Baxter’s digital solutions in hospital. Influence national policy in public health systems and thought leadership.
Work with Global Marketing, R&D and regulatory teams to define the roadmap for the different software modules in WEU for Voalte.
Work with the WEU Marketing team to clearly define use cases on how ICNet can be leveraged across our portfolio of connected devices, plan and prioritize the workflows. Set up plan to gain evidence/ proof points for those workflows.
Work with the ICNet product owner to optimize installation and license cost and support adoption of specific modules to be used with Baxter’s connected devices.
Work with the Voalte product owner to drive Voalte integration with Baxter’s connected devices.
Support the development for the targeted countries of operational plans outlining revenue plan, stakeholder mapping, competitor intelligence, dependencies, support requirements etc.
Oversee joint marketing initiatives with ICNET and Voalte Mobile customers and strategic partners.
Select and drive omnichannel strategy and implementation for both ICNET and Voalte Mobile (including presence at conferences if relevant channel).
Anticipate current & future trends in connected care and market environment. Conduct market research, monitor industry and competitors’ activity.
Ensure timely and accurate financial and resources forecasting with appropriate and robust business case for any significant initiatives proposed.
Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget, involving all relevant stakeholders and being accountable for the overall project implementation.
Understand new market requirements.eg. Cyber security, regulatory, GDPR and work with the relevant internal teams to ensure compliance.
Ensure consistent Baxter Branding across its digital solutions within WEU.
Develop Advisory board with KOLs across WEU to set out the long term vision for Care Communication solutions.
Skills and Experience
At least 5 years of broad and seasoned marketing experience with software or service launch experience and a demonstrated track record of driving consultative selling. Evidence of achieving targets and getting results.
Degree in Business and/or Consulting experience is a plus.
Good knowledge of Country healthcare structures, national healthcare politics, hospital financing, reimbursement policies organization and history.
Good knowledge of software commercial landscape and competition in the healthcare industry; Continuously looks for business intelligence, competitive information to develop business cases.
Ability to swiftly understand logistics, pricing, customer service and supply chain processes and objectives.
Strong project management abilities
Disruptive thinker, looking for Value Creation. Identifies barriers to change and addresses these appropriately.
Analytical skills with ability to collect, organize, analyze significant amounts of diverse information, able to simplify and streamline into recommendations for decision making.
Budgetary knowledge and experience (including P&L).
Works autonomously, self-starter; learns quickly.
Ability to easily translate strategies into operational action plans, and to “get things done” with commitment and support from all stakeholders
A great communicator with customer orientation and strong interpersonal skills.
Fluent in English. Second language in a major WEU market is a plus.
